Who else has been jumping from one shiny object to the next, trying to build a profitable online business that endures?

1 - Create copious amounts of content. The more the better. quality counts. ...
... But so does QUANTITY. The more you write (or outsource) the better you are going to do, and the faster you'll get where you want to be. Period.
2 - Use your content to build a community. When I say community, it's really a euphemism for a list of subscribers. Every single article you write should build your list and do NOTHING else. You don't want readers. You don't really even want fans or followers right now. You want subscribers... and subscribers who will benefit from your experience and expertise, and actively engage with your message, on a daily basis.
3 - Have a curriculum in place BEFORE you begin. What is a curriculum? A product, service or offer that you are going to use to monetize your market.
IT could be a high performing EPC offer. It could be a service of your own to sell. But define THIS on day 1, and you'll be far better off than the millions of people who are spinning their wheels, trying to build a business that has no monetization model in place.
Once you have your 3 ingredients in place
Very simple.
You want to use a very simple linear marketing model I call the strategy of straight lines.
You use your content to build your community, and you use your follow up conversation (your email sequence) to turn your community into clients and customers for your curriculum.
Ideally, you'll have your own service to sell. But if you don't, or are just starting... simply find a high performing affiliate offer you like, trust and feel comfortable recommending, and if you follow the above marketing model to a T... about 3-5% of your subscribers will convert into sales.
The above is totally easy to launch on ANY budget, and works in just about every niche under the sun. I've used this exact model to generate over 4.5 MILLION readers from my article content alone... and hundreds of thousands of subscribers across more names, niches, and product promotions than i can count. (and have managed content campaigns with clients and partners that have done many millions more)
