This program combines general business studies with training in building technologies and facilities. The program is designed to train students specifically for a career in facility management.

However, since it is an undergraduate degree program, students take general education courses in humanities, math, science and social science as well. Upon completion of the program, students should be able to enter the workforce with advanced technical skills in and theoretical knowledge of facility management.

Education Prerequisites

Since it is an undergraduate degree program, students are not expected to already have a background in facility management. To enter the program, students are required to have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Students who already have an associate degree only have to finish the last two years of the program. If students have an Associate in Applied Science in Architectural Technology or a related subject, they might not have to take some of the required core courses.
