One of the lesser known little towns in Spain's Catalonia region is the pretty coastal town of Cambrils. Salou is the nearest big tourist destination and also lies on a major bus route through the region.

Cambrils has a history that goes back thousands of years and there are some amazing historical remains of the Romans, Moors, Christian restoration and many others. Wonderful legends and myths of pirates and untold wealth, kings and conquerors, peasants' revolts and military might in this important coastal area of Spain abound here.
