You may be wondering if it's worth to do article marketing now since the new updates that Google has implemented. A lot of people are complaining that the quality of traffic is no longer available, and its better just to write on your own blog. This article is going to give you the reasons why I think article marketing is better than ever in 2012.
Reason #1 Lack of Competition
Since everybody is rushing to start a new blog the competition in article marketing is severely dropped. What people don't understand is article directories get millions of views each and every month to their articles. With everybody quickly running and posting low-quality content on article directories and leaving the best quality for their blogs, now there is a huge opportunity to reel in the traffic that these article directories create.
So my best recommendation is providing your best content on the article directories as they are still authority sites drawing in millions unique views each and every month. Personally, I don't think your blog is going to be able to draw on this much traffic and get ranked that high.

New updates have also limited the amount of low-quality articles that are being ranked highly. Internet marketers that were using these articles to inflate their article rankings have seen traffic diminish greatly. This is great for the individual that has been creating unique and high-quality content from the start. Now, you can count on your articles ranking higher, and getting more visitors at the very start.
You also don't have to worry about people plagiarizing your content as the search engines can weed out duplicate content extremely easy now. Software generated articles are no longer passing as unique content, as the search engines have finally figured out that people were just switching out the synonyms.
With the search engines using highly advanced algorithms like LSI content implementation, synonym checking, and other back linking strategies it's virtually impossible now to game the system. Some people are still trying to use these search engines tactics to inflate their rankings. But over the long term Google is going to figure out what people are doing and put a patch to stop this.
Article marketing is extremely lucrative now for the Internet marketer that is willing to put in the work up front. It's not hard to create unique content if you have the right specific strategies on how to do it.
Now the best thing is too create unique content. If you struggle with this, no problem! Sometimes you just need to watch someone show you how to do it, and learn their system.
