Keep In Mind These Hot Tub Safety Tips

First, make sure your home's electrical system home meets your hot tub spa's power requirements. Some countries use 240v system and some use the 110v system. Plugging your unit in an incompatible outlet may cause it to explode or not work. Although most hot tub spa electrical systems are universally compatible, it is best to check and make sure you meet the right power requirements. We recommend hot tubs and portable spas.
Install an outdoor outlet for the exclusive use of your hot tub spa so it does not have to share with other appliances, avoiding overload. Make sure this outlet is at least 10-feet away from your hot tub spa to jeep it from getting wet and has a proper outlet cover to protect it from outdoor elements as well as keep young children and pets from playing with it.
Keep everything electrical away from your hot tub and as far as possible. If you wish you watch some TV or listen to some music while you soak, make sure your TV and other devices are at least 10-feet away or farther to avoid any incidents as thing tipping over and falling into your hot tub which will cause electrocution. Also, do not ...
... use any electronic devices such as notebooks and cellphones while on the hot tub. They may be unlikely to cause electrocution but they will be damaged when they accidentally fall into the water causing you lose important data and files.
Make sure your hot tub always has an appropriate and tight-fitting cover when not in use. The cover keeps debris out of your hot tub which keeps it clean and also acts as an insulator to keep precious heat inside. but the most important thing it does is to act as a safety barrier which keeps unattended children or pets from falling into the water unnoticed. The water may be too shallow but it is a danger to small children.
We all know that it is more fun to bathe in the hot tub with the whole family and warm, bubbling water is something very attractive and fun for children. A hot tub spa can be used by adults and children alike but children should never be left unattended in the hot tub spa. Before letting them in the hot tub, educate them on the proper conduct when soaking, such as no horseplay or rough play, etc. do not let them put their head under water as their hair might get entangled in the drains. Also, keep the bathing on a time limit. Older children should bathe no more than 20 minutes and younger ones (around 3 and below) at around 10 minutes tops. It is not advisable for infants because the temperature of the hot tub may be too warm for their bodies.
