As you may already know, the more content and information you put out on the internet, the more traffic that you will get back to your site. Targeted traffic is what matters, and if you don't have a solid game plan as to how you're going to get this targeted traffic, then your business is in trouble.
People go out of business all the time simply because they can't maintain sales and get a steady flow of traffic to their website. This doesn't have to be you. If you've tapped out a lot of your funds on advertising such as pay per click or advertising on blogs... it's time to implement some free marketing in your business that will help you to balance out your losses, and start profiting more (or at least breaking even) from the ads that you run.
In today's lesson, I want to reveal to you a traffic strategy that is absolutely phenomenal. This strategy brings high conversions no matter what niche your own. But I do have to say, due to some recent search engine algorithm changes from Google, it's effectiveness has diminished slightly, but it's still great for making more sales online and boosting your conversion rates. ...
... Here's the traffic strategy that I want to talk about:
- Article marketing
I love the concept of article marketing. Basically, all you do is write up some articles, and submit them to the article directories. Plus, you will want to backlink to your articles so that they can be perceived as "importance" in the search engines. But basically, all you're really doing is writing articles and submitting them to the article directories online.
Now you should know that any old article directory won't do. A lot of beginners online gets hooked on the idea that they can mass submit their article to 300 article directories and then they will instantly get a ton of traffic and a lot of sales to their website. Sadly, they are greatly mistaken.
First of all, only the top 3 article directories on the internet will bring you 95% of your article marketing traffic. This means that the other 297 article directories that you're submitting to aren't worth anything. These sites don't even get traffic at all! You should never use an article submitter or software that can mass submit your site like this. It's just crazy.
To be truly effective, just stick to the top 3. Everybody's top 3 varies, but my top 3 are: "EzineArticles", "ArticlesBase", and "GoArticles" - in that order. All the rest of the other article directories, leave them alone - they won't do much for you. And don't invest your money into a submitter that will only bring you frustration.
Article marketing still works, and there's a sub-section of article marketing called "article syndication" that works very well too. You will want to research this topic and implement this into your article marketing plan also. It can bring you a lot of traffic, credibility, and sales simply and easily.
