Write A Book In Less Than A Month
Have you always wanted to get your written word out there? Well, these days, there are a multitude of ways to do that. For example, online articles, social media, press releases and blogging, etc. Why not do the ultimate and write a book? It may be easier than you think. It is actually possible to write a book in less than 30 days, excluding the publishing process. How you publish your written words are up to you; whether you market yourself well to publishers, or self-publish. Bottom line: Have your ideas, organize them and put them into words. This will take dedication, time management and focus; but, in the end, you will have a book. I wrote my first motivational book in just over three weeks, and so can you.
One day I was listening to a motivational speaker on my phone, and he stated that the best way to gain credibility on a subject, is to write a book on it. The next morning, I woke, began outlining my ideas and just started writing. Literally, I started writing my book in Late January, and had the manuscript to my publisher around the middle of February. How did I do it? First, I thought of a general idea of what ...
... I wanted to write about and came up with a title. My particular specialty was motivational/inspirational books. Once I had a general idea of what my book would be about, I came up with chapter titles based on the subject content. At this point, I began filling in the chapters, chapter by chapter, with my ideas and words. I usually finished one or two chapters a day. When I finished writing the book, I read through it multiple times, edited it and added any new ideas as I saw fit. In the end, I had my first book written in less than a month.
Let's Recap: Have a general idea of what your book will be about and come up with a title. Don't worry though; you can always change or revise the title later on. Outline the book by coming up with chapter titles. Work chapter by chapter, and fill in each with your ideas and content, then move on to the next chapter. Finish at least a chapter, preferably more, a day. After writing the book, read through it at least once and fill in any extra content or create any revisions as you see fit. At this point, it is your option whether you want to edit it yourself or have a professional do it. You now have your book to send off to the publisher. You have finished your book in less than 30 days. How well your book sells depends on your marketing skills and how well it is received by the public. The main thing is, if you want to write a book, you can do it in less than 30 days. If you are organinzed and focused, it is easier than you think.
The best advice I can give you is to write about what you know. If you are a teacher, write about teaching, or kids. If you are good investor, write about money management. Really, think about what you are good at in life and write about it. Start today and have a book written in less than a month.
