Ameriquest Business Services Announces 2013 Scholarship Program Winner

CHERRY HILL, NJ - AmeriQuest Business Services, a leading BPO specializing in the areas of Supply Management, Managed Services and Financial Process Automation, today announced that it has awarded its annual Traffic Safety Scholarship to Sarah Bell of Harrisonburg, VA. Ms. Bell, who is a senior at Harrisonburg High School, wrote the winning essay. AmeriQuest asked students to submit an essay dealing with the decline in deaths due to vehicle crashes in the U.S. This topic is of great interest to AmeriQuest due to its specialization in the Transportation industry. The company required students to do the following:

Citing government regulations and bills, public relation campaigns, infrastructural projects, changes in driver behavior, and more, please explain why this trend [decline of death due to vehicle crashes] has occurred. Once addressing the trend, please elaborate on new changes you would make to keep motor vehicle fatalities on the decline, especially among youth in the 16-24 age bracket.

Ms. Bell dealt with this issue in a very personal way, by talking about her friend who was killed in 2011 by a driver ...
... who was texting at the time. Her essay suggests a variety of safety programs to begin in middle school and recommends that PSAs and social platforms be used to reinforce those programs.

The AmeriQuest Traffic Safety Scholarship was created to help offset the increasingly heavy cost of college and is open to all currently enrolled full-time college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, as well as college-bound, U. S. high school seniors.
