Who In The World Needs Creative Writers

Whoever needs creative writers nowadays? Aren't scientists and doctors the most important people in the whole Universe? Why would you want to be a creative writer, when it brings absolutely nothing on the table?
If you have these questions running through your head, then hear/ read the answers I have in my pocket. You see, I am a creative writer and experience (as little as it may be) has taught me how important it is to explain people why writers are with absolutely nothing below any other software programmer, biochemical scientist or astronomer. Sure, their jobs are important because, well, they save lives and discover new and unimaginable things and I bow before their commitment to dedicate their lives to other people.
However, I believe in the power of words as well. Why? First of all, because they are weapons that cannot be touched. And the invisible things are the most dangerous of all. Think of horror movies, or, better, think of Hell as we imagine it. We are afraid of the things we cannot see or cannot touch. And words most definitely fall into this group. If you are still in doubt, think of how it felt when ...
... someone offended you verbally.
Secondly, I believe that words are so strong that they can convince millions of people on the Planet to do something. Think of fascism or communism and of their great speakers and leaders. They made people follow them because they used the right words in the right context.
Thirdly, words are information. And nothing costs more than information. Let's take the example of higher education. In the United States, it costs a fortune. And that's because people who graduate there will have the right information with them when searching for a job. And they will get paid to use their information.
Last, but not least, words are beautiful. Think of the most touching movie you have ever seen. It was written by someone before it was actually staged. Think of one book that has been haunting you ever since you turned on its last page. Someone dedicated time and soul to scribble those words.
OK, so how does this relate to creative people and creative writing? Behind any text out there, be it fiction/ non- fiction literature, web content, speech, or piece of advertising, there are creative writers who struggle every day to find the new right words that would reach the readers and influence them in one way or another.
Believe it or not, this is not an easy job. So many things have been said and so many things still have to be said that it is getting increasingly difficult to catch anyone's attention with your writing. It's hard to be original, interesting, captivating and to always bring new pieces of information. However, it's not impossible, and that's what all good creative writers believe in.
To answer the question in the title, I will just use one word: "everyone". Regardless of whether you are someone trying to push your business forward and gain visibility on the Internet or if you are someone who simply has a great inspiring story to tell, a creative writer will help you turn your ideas into the best words possible.
Yes, creative writing is not just about hiding yourself in a dark room and hoping that one day someone else besides your friends and family will read your stuff. It is about getting out there, growing and becoming the best at what you do. It is about reading A LOT, it is about writing even more and it is about striving for perfection. It is about vowing to grow every single word into an idea to which readers can relate.
