There are various sets of safety guidelines prior to machine installations in every state, city, or in every country, just like machine installations. Adelaide, for instance, may have their differences. However, goals will always be the same, creating a safer industrial workplace environment, thus helping in the reduction of thousands of injuries and deaths related to workplace accidents. Guidelines in creating a safer industrial workplace may differ, since some industrial workplaces may have industrial machines that have large blades, gears and belts, and some may not have those industrial machines. However, it will always be the employers’ responsibility in keeping the workplace safe for their workers at all times and ensure that all machines are in perfect working condition prior to machine installations.

Machine Guards
Machine guards are very important in keeping workers safe from hazardous parts of various machineries. Machine guards generally protect workers from rotating machine parts, sharp parts, and other dangerous areas of machines that fingers or parts of the body can easily get caught into. Primary ...
... and main responsibility of a machine guard is to prevent operators or workers from accidentally having their body parts reach hazardous areas of machines during machine operation.

Fixed Machinery through Anchors
What can be more dangerous than operating machineries moving all around the place because it’s not anchored in place properly? Anchors or even bolts that can keep machineries in place during operation should be bolted to prevent machines from harming operators and other workers nearby. Operating machines should be kept away from employee passageways at all times. Anchors are always ensured and checked twice before using the machinery. Adelaide, to prevent hazards in the workplace, has imposed these guidelines.

Lead Forging Machines Safety Guidelines
To prevent lead forging machineries from overheating that may lead to combustion, functional heating control should be included in the safety guidelines. Machineries should be kept clean at all times and machine operators should also be wearing the right protective gear (goggles, gloves, aprons, etc) when handling lead forging machines.

Baking Machine Pipes Safety Guidelines
Since baking machine pipes will really get hot during operations, industrial baking machine pipes should always have insulated covers to help protect machine operators from accidental burns. All baking machines should have machine guards that completely cover the machine and there should be enough warning signs in the area to remind all workers about the hazards in the workplace.

Textile Machines Safety Guidelines
Nip points of textile machines are considered to be one of the most dangerous parts of textile machines, since it is where the fingers or hands of operators can accidentally be caught. Nip points of textile machines should have machine guards at all times. Aside from machine guards, employers should train their textile machine operators about individual stopping mechanisms that can be operated mechanically and/or electrically.

Farming Machines Safety Guidelines
Employers should conduct seminars regarding safety guidelines prior to installation, just like farming machine installations. Adelaide requires employers to join seminars at least once a year in handling or operating farming machines. Farming machines are very hazardous. All machine guards should be checked if they are in its proper place before turning farming machines on and always remember to keep unnecessary riders off of farm machines. In some places, there will be variations of farming machinery. Adelaide is one of them. However, the main goal for safety guidelines is for the safety of operators and workers through creating a safe working environment.
