Preform molds is one of the high production moulds, usually customer will make 24 cavities preform molds, 32 cavities preform moulds, 48 cavities preform molds, 72 cavities preform moulds etc.

Preform molds gate system:
PET Preform Mould sprue gate can be divided into long gate, short gate, and needle valve gate. When it comes to gate, we will think of the valve gate hot runner, the advantage of valve gate is as follow:

Preform moulds thickness design:
PET preform like 28PCO, 3025, 1881 standard its PET preform wall thickness should not be over 4mm, and the distance between PET preform neck and the bottle body should leave out at least 3-5mm.

Preform molds cooling system:
Both the preform molds core and preform moulds cavity side has cooling channel. But the cooling channel is different, preform molds core cooling system is like fountain design, this design could make the preform molds cooling better.
