No matter how you look at it, your bathroom is just going to be that way—a bathroom. There is no way you can change its typical and monotonous appearance without undergoing some bathroom remodeling of some sort. You think that’s all it is ever going to be? Well, what if I told you that you could put some life to your so-called monotony? You do not have to spend much to feel a lot better when using your bathroom. Check out these few stuff I have compiled to help you decide on your bathroom beautification plans.

Plants

Plants are probably the most ordinary ornament one can place in one’s home. They are always dismissible because they are a given. Plants are staple add-ons in any home. However, have you tried placing a small, potted plant inside your bathroom? If you haven’t, why don’t you try it now? You can get a couple of small plants from your garden or from your lawn and place them on an empty space in your bath. You really don’t have to stick with those plants. If you prefer a more suitable decoration for your place, you can frequent weekend and garden fairs to look for the perfect plants.

Wind chimes are just lovely. They often relax the mind. I often close my eyes in order to appreciate the unique and clear melody they spread. Imagine such feeling every time you enter your bathroom. No matter what your business is, whether you are going to poop or take a bath, wind chimes will make you feel more relaxed and think about other beautiful stuff other than your business in the bathroom. Oh, did I mention that there are several beautiful wind chime designs that you can find in the home depots? You really just have to look for the design that matches your bathroom’s interior best.

Paintings or portraits

Right? They can totally create the variation you desperately long. These paintings don’t necessarily have to be expensive. You can find cheap reproductions in malls and weekend fairs. However, if you prefer original artworks, you can look for starting artists with potential. Who knows? Maybe this certain artist gets really popular in the future and you can sell this early painting at a much higher price. Talk about return of investment! So yes. Think about it. But if you really do not have extra money as of the moment, you can just snatch a few family photograph from your living room and place them on your bathroom wall. Do you see me winking? Of course, you do.

Colors and shapes

Finally, you can add more colors and shapes to your bathroom. I gather more creative people would rather do this than the suggestions above. You can use paint or wallpaper to bring out a different ambience or feel in your bath. And regarding the shapes, if your bathroom is big enough, then maybe you can add a little table or a few vases. If you can afford it, you can even have a partial bathroom remodeling of some sort—just to emphasize on the different shapes and color you envision in your mind.
