Working as a medical assistant implies dealing with different types of job criterion based on the situation requirement. Medical assistant’s job revolves around the patient, doctors, dealers and insurance companies simultaneously. Thus, making the medical assistant the sole controller of both administrative and clinical areas in order to fulfill the basic demands of the patients. However, the needs and demands of the patients are ever changing, and
the medical assistant is expected to take changes in a positive way and keep the patients happy and satisfied. There are many ways by which medical assistants can make the patients happy and may affect the patient’s perception positively.
Some of the tips for medical assistants to make patients happy are listed below:

• Value privacy of patient
Patient’s privacy is the most important thing that has to be valued at any cost. Some patients are of the sensitive nature hence; proper privacy is required. When a patient calls, be polite and ask questions that do not disturb their privacy.
• Follow up calls
After the treatment is over and once the patient leaves the clinic, they often find themselves with questions they did not realize they had. It is good to make a follow up plan by the medical assistant in order to satisfy all the queries of the patient. Medical assistant are the one who can make understand and are perfect for this job. At the same time, the medical assistant
must give the patient a rough idea that when he can expect his call so that he can get enough time to prepare all the questions to be asked. In addition, make sure that other persons live with the patient.
• Anticipate the needs of patient
Medical assistant must survey their patients and ask them what they exactly need. Ask the patient about any change or modification they need and thus act accordingly. This will show the medical assistant’s willingness to grow and how much they care about patient’s opinions.
• Provide information and resources to the patient
Medical assistants must collect their effective and favorite resource items and distribute among the patients. A medical assistant must collect email addresses from the patients. In fact, a medical assistant has a huge impact on the patient. If medical assistants are kind, polite and knowledgeable, they will create an environment in which patients are content and comfortable.
