Is Your Website Doing Its Job Representing Your Company

When you have a website, it is so crucial that it accurately represents your business. You want the viewer to see it and understand your business from your website.
Right now, you should ask yourself two questions:
1.How long has it been since you looked at the company website?
2.When did you REALLY look at the website for your company?
Most likely, the website is looked at daily, but do you pay close attention to every aspect of it? How often do you do this? It is a good idea to consider what the customer sees and put yourself in their shoes when viewing your website. What do they think about your website when viewing it for the first time, and what changes would they make?
There is a fine line and balance when you have to make sure the customer has a great experience while also leading them to make a purchase.
Here are things to consider in certain areas to make this happen:
The Images Used On the Website
An example might be a company that supplies restaurants from supplies of utensils to renovations. There are two markets that this company ...
... targets, one is the customers who have a budget of over $ 20,000 who want an entirely new kitchen including equipment and those who have a smaller budget of around $2,000, and want their kitchen to look new with a few new pots and pans, and utensils, as well a couple pieces of equipment.
When a company wants to go after the customers who want an entire new kitchen, they should be clear and present these images on their website, otherwise it sends a message to customers to say they can't do this or don't have the equipment to do so.
If the company wants to get the customers who just want to have their kitchen spruced up to look new, then they need to present the images of these budget items and not all the fancy new equipment for an entire new kitchen. This will make customers see products that are too expensive and turn them off and away from the website.
Customers will look at these images and form an opinion regarding their decision, as customers don't always read everything. The visual images have already given them an impression and if it is conveyed the wrong impression, and then you will have to double your efforts in order to correct it in other areas on your website.
The Font on Your Website Is Just As Visual
Believe it or not, the font you use on your website can leave an impression on the viewer, much the same is of your images. When you have an excellent product, make sure the font used represents those products. If you have a sale item, make sure that the font for that is also taken into consideration.
Here Are Some Examples:
When you have some price comparison items, you can use Comic Sans, as this is a basic and simple font and will greatly emphasize this area.
When presenting unique and expensive products, you can use the Monotype Cursive font, as it appears elegant and gives it a stylish emphasis.
The Colors on Your Website
Color is another important feature on your website. It can convey opinions too, this should be considered when choosing what colors your website background, and text convey. Certain bright colors may signify a sale item, meaning they stand out, are bold and grab your customer’s attention for a sale. The other option may be to use pastel colors that represent calm and elegance, giving your products an expensive appearance. These are just suggestions, and not an absolute rule that has to be followed.
Focus On Your Representation to Your Customer
Having the right fonts, colors and images on your website represents how your products are perceived and you want them viewed in the right way. This may seem trivial but it does make a difference and you should consider this when creating your website.
