Eric brings significant experience in publishing, development and public relations to the WBTC leadership. Prior to his work with the International Foundation, he was President of the Peale Center division of Guideposts, the largest inspirational publisher in the United States, and served on the Board of Trustees. Earlier in his career he was Director of Public Relations and Director and Editor of the Moody Monthly magazine for Chicago’s Moody Bible Institute.



“It is a real privilege to be selected as President of WBTC,” Eric said in commenting on the position. \"Jesus sent us into the world to be ambassadors of reconciliation and that is the great need of both nations and families. The main tool for changing hearts and lives is Scripture and WBTC is dedicated to making easily understandable translations available to the common people everywhere. I am very excited to use my background and skills to serve this purpose and meet the goal of having the complete Bible available in the 100 most-spoken languages on the planet.”

... Eric is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, holds the B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the M.A. in Communications from Wheaton College. Eric and his wife, Joy, have been married for 33 years and have three adult children.



The board and staff at WBTC are excited to have Eric and Joy join this ministry. We believe that Eric’s excellent abilities in communication, broad international experience and great passion for people to know Jesus make him uniquely qualified to lead WBTC into the future.
