If you have put any effort into establishing your own Internet business then you have probably seen the term 'JV'. Just incase you aren't sure already, 'JV' is short for 'joint venture'. JVs make it possible for you to capitalize on someone else's hard work, while they benefit from yours. The key word here is 'joint'. It's really only a fancy term for filling someone else's gaps, or adding to each other's bottom line for mutual benefit.

JVs are of the best ways for you to take your business ,whether it is a small business or a giant corporation, to a higher level. It could take a bit of work on your part, but there are a few steps you can take to boost your chances of JV success. Just look at it like this, both parties in the JV will maximize your profits from what you already have, so you both benefit.

Before you begin to find a JV partner it is necessary that you make clear what it is you have to offer, what they could give to you in return, and how they can benefit from this. At these sites look for the owner's name, email address, and any other important information. If you can't find the information easily, you may find a ‘Who is' lookup helpful.

At last, you've done everything necessary up to this point, so all that is left to do is craft your JV proposal. Be friendly, professional and truthful. Always know their name and address them by it (never use vague terms like Hey), and present your offer. Give a brief summary as to how being JV partners would prove beneficial for him as well as you and state your proposal.

Close your message with your full contact , including name, e-mail, website, and telephone number. If for some reason you are not comfortable with handing out this personal information to them, then you have obviously not chosen the right person for a JV partner. Lastly, you should encourage them to ask questions and thank them for their time. Then all you can do is wait for a reply.

The waiting is the hardest part. Answer any questions that come your way, and be ready to follow through on any offers you make. Just remember, it is likely that you will get turned down some, but try not to get offended. See if you can learn anything from them and do better on the next proposal.
