Cleaning Crystal chandelier requires heavy amount of concentration and patience at the same time. Still no matter how tiring it is, one needs to do it if one wants a lovely home that looks beautiful. The cleaning process is methodical and rhythmical, which converts this task from boring to interesting. Once the job is complete, you will be proud of accomplishing the task. Here are a few simple steps to keep your chandelier bright and clean:

" The first thing you need to do is unplug the chandelier from power supply. Leave it for some time and let the bulbs cool down. Remove all the breakable and unnecessary items from your working area.

" The next thing you need to do is find a blanket and spread it on the floor. This is done in case you drop a crystal accidently, we do not wish to break it. Thus, softening the ground surface is necessary. Now you need to dissemble it but before you do start, we want you to take few pictures of the chandelier, as it will be helpful when you reassemble it.

" Now, it is time when you start removing ...
... the bulbs. Climb up the ladder and make use of tools if required to remove the bulbs. Put them aside as they will be cleaned separately. If possible, then unhook the complete chandelier from the ceiling and keep it on the floor above the blanket. It makes your task easier and cleaner. Be very careful while handling the parts as the arms are fragile and are normally fixed with screws to the center. The unfastening of the parts needs extra care, as you do not wish to fall and mess it up all. Do not make use of pressure to remove any of the parts, as chandelier is very delicate.

" You will need two towels, one for the dirty and one for the clean crystals. Once you have removed the parts, you can sink them in a plastic container so that all their dust is removed. Wash them with soapy water in sections so that you do not have difficulty in reassembling. You need to repeat the process of soapy water with every section to get complete chandelier cleaned.

" Make sure you do not wet any of the wires otherwise short circuit could happen and all your efforts will be blown away.

The same cleaning process can also be used for home lighting and bocci lighting.
