Double Cartridge Mechanical Seals" are self cartridge units consisting of a shaft, sleeve, seal and gland plate. The unit is fitted on to the pump shaft as a built assembly, and no further fitting is required. They are supplied with various tappings to provide for flashing, cooling water injection and disaster control.
