Adhesive labels are usually small in size; they are typically a piece of paper that is designed to be affixed to an object or a larger piece of paper. The Label is held in place on the object or larger piece of paper by a layer of adhesive on the back of the label.

There are many types of Adhesive Labels available, they can come in any size you require however there are usually specific sizes that you can order. Adhesive Labels if paper based can come in any colour you desire, you can also have them pre printed.

If you are using Adhesive Labels in a business aspect then you can even incorporate you r company logo into the label. It could be small in the corner or faded as a background, this looks very professional when the customer receives the letter and sees a branded label. Labels are not always just made from paper tho, you can also get labels made of a thin sheet of plastic, these have a transparent effect to them and are used in special circumstances.

The Different Forms of Postage Stamps

Customised Stamp – These stamps can be made buy sending an image over the computer or sending a photo to the manufacturer, you can choose how you want your stamps to look.
Airmail Stamps – These stamps have a special purpose and cannot be used to post everyday letters or packages within your country. They are designed specifically to send mail or packages to a location abroad.
Definitive Stamps – Now these are the stamps you will be most familure with, these are your everyday stamps used worldwide to send mail to a place within your country. Definitive Stamps are often simple in design and can keep the same design for many years.
Military Stamps – These stamps are strictly for use within the Armed Forces and are often used in conjunction with a special postal system.
Commemorative Stamps – These stamps are only produced for a short period of time, they can be highly sought after by Stamp Collectors and they are used to commemorate and event or person.
Official Mail Stamp – These stamps are strictly for use within a government agency or by the government.
