The process of " BRIQUETTING " is the physical transformation of the loose raw material into high density fuel briquettes through a compactly compressed unit known as Briquettes Machines. The form change results in a much higher specific density of the material which increases its combustion efficiency as compressed to the loose material. Energy is the key factor in economic development of the country.
Charcoal Briquette have a consistent quality, have high burning efficiency, are ideally sized for complete combustion. Combustion is more uniform compared to coal and boiler response to changes in steam requirements is faster due to higher quantity of volatile matter in briquettes. Unlike coal, lignite or oil, briquettes are produced from renewable source of energy, biomass. Briquettes have high specific density (1200 kg/m3) compared to 60 to 180 kg/m3 of loose biomass. Loading/unloading and transportation costs are much less and storage requirement is drastically reduced.
The demand for the usage of Briquette Equipment has started mushrooming in several industries to stop environmental pollution occurring from industrial ...
... wastage resulting from numerous industries namely forestry, agriculture and other such industrial residue. With an aim to come out of such dreadful situations, almost every industry these days are forced to shift towards Briquetting machine usage for its day to day operation
With the latest technological improvement, the Briquetting machine came into existence which changed the definition to treat industrial waste in its entirety. With the pressure on the industrial unit on the rise for using measures that are eco-friendly and contributes to go for a green revolution, a hike has been observed in the demand for such machines.
Almost any biomass can be briquetted. Briquetting plants set so far in India are using Saw Dust, Bamboo dust, Bagasse, Cotton Stalk, Coffee husk, Groundnut Shell, Mustard Husk/Stalk, Pine Needles, Rice Husk, Sugar Mill Waste, Jute waste, Coir pith and other wastes & residues like Castor Shell, Red Gram Stalk, Tobacco stem, Tea Waste, Sander Dust, Tree Bark, Wild Grasses & Shrubs and Sander dust etc. can be also be briquetted individually or in combination WITHOUT USING ANY BINDER.
