You have to grab the paper towel to peel the membrane layer from the rib rack with a blunt knife. Sometime the whole membrane can be taken off in one single stroke and sometimes it takes some effort but the necessary thing is to remove the membrane because it can block the flavor.

Rib rub can be used to give the best flavor to the BBQ at the time when the ribs are trimmed and smoker is hot. At this time the ribs are ready to be cooked and the addition of rub will add flavor and texture to the meet. You can crisp the surface of rib BBQ by exposing it to direct heat for about two minutes. This will make your experience better and enjoyable.
