The various jumps that are built are not made to be knocked down, so they are solid. Here, once again, there is a time limit involved. This type of discipline is not for the faint hearted, so the rider and horse need to be fit.

Once you have tried out the cross country option, you would be wise to try out the popular three day eventing option. This is done over three days. The first day starts with dressage, where the horse and rider are tested for the skills needed to ride competently. Dressage is usually done with an English saddle using the English style of riding.

One the second day, you will take part in the cross country event. Here, the courage and skill of both the rider and horse are put to the test. The fences cannot fall down and the course is set over a large area. Here, the rider rides for time and penalties can be issued.

The third day is spent on show jumping. In this equestrian event, the horse and rider are tested against the clock and at a specific height of jumps. As the show progresses, the fences shall get heightened and the riders will also jump against the clock for time. If the horse knocks the jumps, there are penalties to be issued.
