Dosage Instructions
For Adults

Adults are initially recommended oral solution from 40mg-80mg. Their usual dosage can range from 160-320 mg.

Portal Hypertension

At the initial stage 40 mg drug dose is recommended. However, this can be further extended upto 160mg.

The drug can be taken w/wo food. (It can be taken consistently with meals or without meals or else as per the physician’s prescription.

Using During Lactation and Pregnancy

Extra caution is taken during lactation while taking propranolol hcl. In case of pregnancy, drug should be taken as per the physician’s prescriptions.
