• Registrations are done online. To register go to Person VUE website and register for the exam and select date when you want to sit in the exam.
• To finish the VCP-510 exam a total time of 90 minutes is set. But before you continue the exam, a form is visible on your computer screen which you have to fill up. It is a survey consisting of 8 questions. Obviously this form filling is not included in test scores. This takes about like 15 minutes.
• The exam contains about 85 multiple choice questions. The whole exam is in English, so for those who aren’t Native English speaker gets an extra half an hour time to complete the exam. As for this advantage many of them claim themselves as a non-native. To avoid the dilemma, countries which are considered where English is the primary language are- United States of America, United Kingdom, Australia, Belize, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
• Some questions have one answer and they are indicated accordingly. Other questions have multiple answer and they indicate them clearly on the question. Simulation and ‘drag or drop’ questions aren’t given.
• Results are given as Pass/Fail. It is based on a range of 100-500 where 300 or more is a passing score.
• The whole exam costs $225. The expense may vary from country to country for exchange rates and local taxes.
