What are Spirit Guides?

According to the western religious theory it is believed that spirit guides are the souls or spirits who have not taken birth on this earth but are present in the universe. We can see them when a strong desire arises in us to know who this unseen mentor is in our lives. They appear to us in the form of a human being if we have the special ability of future vision. It is also said that they appear in our dreams in the form of our loved ones who are no longer alive on this earth. Sometimes it has been said that these guides appear in the form of the pet that we had loved the most. In our childhood we interact with them as our imaginary friends but as we become adults our vision is blurred by worldly knowledge and we are not able to see them though they are around us, at that time we have to take the help of the people who have the special ability to interact with spirits. It is also believed that we can see them with the help of hypnosis.

Who are Spirit Guides?

It is said that spirit guides are the spirits who are not born again on this earth after their soul leaves the body after spending one life on this earth. They live on a separate plane which is invisible to the common eye. Before a person takes birth they choose their spirit guide it is at that time we are able to interact directly with the spirits. It is believed that they are mostly the souls with whom we have lived in this world at one or the other stage of our lives. On the whole we can say Spirit Guides are our invisible mentors.
