When you are trying to find a new job you will be faced with a background check. This is done by the most employers and it almost always includes your criminal history. As a driver for a company your driving record represents potential risk. How is your credit report used?

A common example is if you are taking care of money is a common function of the position. Your ability to manage credit on your own will give the job an gauge if you represent a gamble. This reason actually could be stated about your handling of any asset owned by the job.

A more common reason is to give them an idea of the level of your responsibility. If you are a person who does not pay their bills you represent a risk not to lenders but to employers. For an employer to use your credit report as a background check they first must ask your permission. This ...

What is provided to the employer is an employment credit report. This is a report designed for employer use. This won't have your credit score. This is a common myth people have. The Fair Credit Report Act gives employers access to your credit report but it does not state nothing about a right to your credit score.
