Certified Professional Contratct Manager (cpcm) Exam
A certified professional contracts manager (CPCM) shows that an individual is knowledgeable about all facets of contracts management, both within the government and the commercial arenas. To earn the CPCM, a candidate must take and pass the Certified Professional Contracts Manager module exam.

A Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification demonstrates that an individual have met NCMA's highest standards for education, training, and experience, and have demonstrated his knowledge of the contract management competencies in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge.

The following are the steps leading to CPCM Certification:
• Application:
The application process is supported as follows:
1. A candidate must complete the application.
2. Send the application to NCMA with fee and supporting documents.
• Registration:
The registration process includes the below mentioned steps to be performed:
1. NCMA reviews application
2. NCMA sends record of eligibility to exam provider
3. NCMA e-mails instructions to candidate
4. Candidate registers for exam
The Candidates who wish to appear for CPCM Exams are required to fall on the following eligibility criteria:
• A degree from a regionally or Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) accredited institution at the bachelor's level.
• Degrees from outside the U.S will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• Five (5) years of experience.
• 120 hours of continuing professional education.
CPCM Exam includes:
• One objective of 4-hour exam, with 180 questions based on the CMBOK
• 70% based on contract management (Contract Principles, Contract Planning / Strategy, Specialized Knowledge, and Contract Administration)
• 30% based on general business (accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, operations management, quantitative methods).
The Passing score for the candidates appearing in CPCM exam is 70%.
