Making An Effective Real Estate Ad
Classifieds have helped many people sell their properties. People have used the platform of online classifieds to get quick capital in hand. But, not every real estate ad draws as much customer attention as is required. This may happen because of loopholes in ad, such as ineffective heading, incomplete information or probably in some cases wrong information. Here are some of the tips that can help one get rid of the loopholes and hence one can create an effective ad:
1. Catchy headline: A headline is the thing that gives users an insight into what lies in the ad. But this does not mean that one tells everything in the heading itself. Heading should give people a rough idea so that it becomes easy for them to decide the relevance of ad. It is better to keep the heading short and relevant. While dealing with real estate ads, one can include phrases such as 'well-furnished', 'two-room set', 'posh location'. However, the motive of using such phrases should not just be to catch user attention. Use the phrases that actually describe your property.
2. ...
... Complete information: One should never expect to get a good response from classifieds unless the information provided is complete in all respects. Remember, complete information must be from customer point of view. This means that the ad must include every little thing that a user should know. In case of real estate, one should clearly mention about location, area, price or unpaid loan (if any). In Pakistan, classified ads can be posted free of cost. So, one should make the most of it. It is such a good platform to sell your property. So, one should not miss the opportunity just because of little mistakes such as incomplete information.
3. Credible information: Another requirement for an ad to be effective is the credibility of information. Credibility means that the information provided in the ad is correct and is appropriate according to user requirements. This not only includes information about the product that is sold through ad, but also the contact information that has been provided for further reference. Wrong contact information is one terrible mistake. Even if customers are interested in dealing with you, they won't get the further course of action, thanks to the wrong contact information. The only thing one can do to avoid this is cross check every single detail that has been provided in the ad. Any mistake if encountered should be corrected as soon as possible.
