For every living organism in this world, pollution is a threat. The world pollution levels has encroached the lives of every celled organism leading to disruptions and other catastrophic misbalances of the delicate ecosystems that we all live in. For most parts man has been reckless in using the bounties of nature and never bothering to take care of her. The resultant is what today’s generation face. Each little pollutant has been detrimental to health of flora and fauna. Earth was created with a delicate balance of the ecosystem. Each living thing within that ecosystem contributed to it. Any kind of pollutants or toxic materials either altered that ecosystem wrecked havoc and the result is that these have now essentially stopped existing in its original form. Each time man invented machines, or progressed in this world, he had spewed gallons of pollutants in nature. The result has been catastrophic. The harmful effects were not realized until it was late. ... cores of the system and the result is what we see today: climate upheavals, most animals, birds and plants going extinct, etc. The effect was even found in the bacterial strains. New diseases came in the forefront and deformities caused by these pollutants were not realized till it became too late. What was amazing was man continues on its course and there is no recent respite in the near future.


One of the major inventions of man has been technology. In this technical era, we are provided with all the facilities that we can ever dream off. There are multiple types of comfort giving instruments including the latest advanced featured phones that makes this life easy and connectivity to others fast. But still, how many of us have actually wondered the carbon footprints that we leave behind? The manufacturing units of all these specific devices need thousands of elements, alloys and water. Each of them is sourced from the earth itself. We source them and replete the mother earth’s natural resources. We use them to create the most advanced components. Yet, we do not stop there, we keep on using it and never stop to think about giving back.


Today, however, we do find people appreciating the bad effects and finding alternative methods that are not so harmful. For example, the man-built machines require the fuel energy to operate. This is sourced from mining. Man is slowly moving to the cleaner and the safer forms of energy. Like, there have been possibilities of using the solar energy, tidal energy, hydraulics and other water-based energy to operate the same machines. Other inventions, like the Stormwater Bypass Interceptor have aided to provide the necessary savings in pure water.


The other kind of inventions and precautionary method has for the time being stalled the pollution. However, the major harm has already been done. There are also the Gross Pollutant devices that are being used in major industries today.
