The HCG diet can be traced way back to the 1950s when it was invented by A.T.W. Simeons. The diet plan was broken into phases and these strategies have been adopted in many parts of the world for weight loss. Each phase consists of some steps and when these are combined with the intake of HCG, they have some awesome results. The diet phases may be adjusted to meet the specific needs of individuals. Many people tend to overlook the first phase of the diet plan though it is probably the most important.

The first phase involves a high intake of fats and calories while at the same time taking HCG. The body will try to deposit the new fat cells and lipid but HCG will stop it. Instead of storing the new fats, the body will loosen and mobilize fats and lipids. When the actual diet plan starts, the mobilized fats and lipids will results to rapid weight loss. At the first phase, it is critical to keep taking the HCG diet drops. From the first phase up to when the diet plan is completed, you cannot stop the intake of human chorionic gonadotropin.

In the second phase of the ...
... diet plan, the dieters are required to limit their intake of calories. A very strict caloric intake of around 500 calories per day should be maintained. During this period, dieters can feed on lean protein among other things. There are many online sites from which you can obtain a wide range of recipes which meet the calories specifications. Only around 500 calories intake is required since your body will be pulling around 2000 calories from the body’s stored fat. To strictly maintain this calories intake, there are certain foods that you should consume and others that you should avoid.

The foods that you eat while on HCG diet are those that will restore your body to its normal balance. There are some recommendations given by Dr. Simeons regarding the right foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For instance, it is advisable to stick to black coffee and certain types of teas for breakfast. Some of the recommended organic teas include chamomile tea, organic green tea and Yerba mate tea. You can have any amount of tea or coffee that you please as long as the drinks do not have other additives in them. The drinks should be made with pure water as opposed to tap water.

You also have to consider the main meals like lunch and dinner. You are free to feed on certain types of proteins. Such proteins include organic fed beef. Chicken is also allowable though it has to be the organic skinless chicken breast. There are also some fish which are low on mercury and these are also allowable. Alongside the proteins, you can also feed on a wide variety of leafy vegetables. However, you are advised to stick to one type of vegetable per meal. They should not be cooked with oil but instead, they should be grilled, steamed or boiled. Even as you watch your diet maintain consistent intake of HCG diet drops.
