The Priceless Personal Touch
With the weather still cold and generally gloomy (bit like the country's finances), shopping on the high street isn't really very appealing, and who can blame us? Even when it looks sunny, you take one step outdoors and you soon hightail it back for a jumper.

I think we all cannot wait until the warmth of the sunshine hits our faces. The sun has a unique way of making us feel better, if only we could switch it on like a light bulb! Ah well, I guess we could always emigrate to a sunnier climate!
It seems we are becoming choosier about what we do, where we go and obviously what we spend. So when it comes to gift buying, ideally we want to get a really great present without having to spend an absolute fortune.
You may be sitting there chuckling to yourself thinking that's not very realistic, good luck with that one, well I might just surprise you. What's more I've got a few ideas to put you on the right track, and even better you can get them all from under one roof ...
... and from the comfort of your own home. Yes, you do not have to wrap up and brave the outdoors; in fact you may not even have to get out of bed....if you have a laptop!
Welcome to the land of Findmeagift.com. Your one stop online gift emporium!
So let's get right into it. Hands up who likes Top Gear? It an entertaining programme that has universal appeal, thanks to its great format. With everyone who tunes in trying to solve the mystery that is the Stig! Declare your mate as the Stig (or you, if you fancy treating yourself), with a personalised Top Gear Stig Poster. For an absolute bargain at under a tenner, you can put any name on the front of a framed A3 poster, which is a reproduction of the front cover of a Top Gear Magazine. It makes a great gift, which has that personal touch, which any Stig fan will love.

Do you know anyone who is completely star struck? For a change I'm not talking of the Brad Pitt kind! I'm on about the sky at night, that vast celestial ceiling of twinkling wonders. On a clear night you can get lost in its awe. So what better gift can you get someone who is either a budding astronomer or just really appreciates the beauty and spectacle of the night sky, than a Name a Star gift of course. Boldly go where no gift they have received has gone before! You can name the star anything, and in return you get a framed personalised certificate, stating the name and its database reference number. It also comes with an educational astronomy starter kit with a spectacular sky chart and star poster and a guide book to the Northern Constellations, phew; so many goodies and they all come in a presentation box. A truly eternal gift!
Sticking with the night theme, how about a really cute teddy bear? Ok, there are millions of bears out there to choose from, but why not choose one which you can personalise? Findmeagift.com does a Personalised Teddy Bear. This cute, high quality and totally huggable traditional teddy bear stands 30cm tall and is wearing a t-shirt that you can personalise. You have up to 28 words to play with, so you could write a short poem for a loved one, or have a significant date put on the t-shirt, a joke or favourite saying, just let your imagination run wild!
So, did I manage to surprise you? Are you now thinking of people who would love these kinds of gifts? But before I go, let's get back to the sun. I confess being able to bring the sun out on demand is totally out of my league. So how about capturing it in a jar?
Come on; own up, if I didn't surprise you before, I have now! Admittedly it isn't actually the sun in a jar, besides; it would have to be one big mighty jar. Anyway Findmeagift.com has the next best thing. The Sun Jar, it stores the suns energy up for use when the moon and stars come out. It uses a specialised Solar Power cell battery, which charges from direct sunlight during the day. Then as night falls, it automatically glows with natural light at the brightness of a candle. A unique and clever gift that is portable and waterproof, making it ideal to put out in the garden, or out on the patio, perfect for those lazy summer evening barbeques. They even do a blue version - called the Moon Jar, it would go great with the ‘Name a Star' gift.
Great personalised gifts do not have to cost the earth and they can still be out of this world...literally! For loads more gift ideas and options, why don't you take a trip online to Findmeagift.com and you could be in for a nice surprise.
