Where are the best places to move to in the United States? That’s a big question! Every person has a different idea about what makes life good, but there are some clear determining factors that are common across the diverse spectrum of preferences. If you’re looking for a place to live there are a ton of things to consider. What factors are the most important to your happiness and quality of life? Some people find they are happiest in the hustle and bustle of a major city, while others prefer the serenity of open spaces. Regardless, there needs to be some major benefits that your ideal location provides. What cities have the highest median family income? What cities have the lowest tax rates? Consider both sales and income taxes. What kind of insurance rates to specific areas, consider all types of insurance. What is the state of the economy in the city or state you are thinking about moving to? Is the unemployment rate high, what kind of job growth is the region experiencing? Does the region contain industry or commerce related to my skill sets? What is the general cost of living, how much does rent cost, what are the gas prices and food prices? Are there transportation solutions that will meet my needs? Transportation amenities are often overlooked as an essential click here factor. You may move to a great city with plenty of jobs, but being happy with an extra three hours in traffic a day can be difficult. A simple Google search on any of the above questions should produce a reasonable result that has the information you need when making a moving list.

The above is all very practical, and ensures that you will be able to compete and survive financially. Financial security is only one piece of the happiness pie however, albeit a big one. There are less objective considerations. What are the age ranges and groups in a given area? Moving to a city that has many people your age is a good idea. Are moving to denver there activities that I enjoy in or around the city, are there places for me to enjoy my favorite hobbies? If you are an outdoor person you can greatly benefit from an active community with trails and parks.
