Chandlee and Sons recently completed a unique commercial construction project for Miller Zell in the warehouse district of Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta. Miller Zell is an architectural and design firm, and as such, they display full size retail structures for each of their clients that include StarBucks, Metro PCS and many others inside their 150,000 square foot showroom. ... had already fully encapsulated the entire building in plastic to prevent debris from spreading to the surrounding spaces. By 10:30 that night the entire 3,000 square foot building was completely gone from the showroom.

Donghia International, contracted with Chandlee and Sons Construction to update their showroom of exclusive fabrics located inside the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. Since the show room had to stay open for business, Seth and Jim divided this interior renovation project into three segments enabling their client to continue to conduct business as usual. Although the project was tedious, when it was completed the client had a beautifully updated showroom finished on time and on budget.

Another unusual commercial construction project that Chandlee and Sons undertook was for an Alpharetta businessman who wanted an indoor sports arena located inside a huge warehouse space. Seth and Jim first subdivided the warehouse into separate spaces. One of the spaces became the sports arena with a football field, a gymnastics area, batting cages, exercise and training areas, along with office spaces, a party room, restrooms, a lobby and a kitchen.

The owner of a Merlin Muffler franchise hired Chandlee and Sons to finish his commercial construction project. Seth took the owner’s temporary certificate of occupancy to a certificate of occupancy by completing the construction of the building. Seth and his crew finished the structural steel work, electrical work, and exterior brick work including a parapet wall for an arch element. He also painted the structure, built a staircase to the storage space above the offices, and completed the punch out enabling the owner to finally open for business.
