Since this car was launched in 1998 it has been one of the top favorites and up till now it retains it status. Great cars have been introduced yet not one of them can hold the status of the Ford Focus. Only one car has had the chance of coming close to the quality of the Ford Focus and that is the Volkswagen golf. It seems that this particular Ford will always hold the leading role for most comfortable and easy family car. The Focuses are very similar with only little differences here and there as all have been designed under a ‘one Ford’ plan so the car is not just euro-centric. There are many engines available for this vehicle.

Some of these include Fords new Eco-boost tech and a very proficient 1.0 liter turbo petrol unit. Out of all the engines the best seller has shown to be the 1.6 liter diesel version that offers 113bhp. Moving on to the design of the Ford Focus when it was launched it introduced a whole new design to the market. ... different look, though it may have made some people a bit wary by 1999 this model became best seller. Of course the design was successful. The engine is at the form with a traverse mounted design that drives the front wheels with either manual or twin clutch gearboxes.

At the rear of the car Fords multi blade link is set up. This particular model unlike some others Fords comes with only a five door option which seems ideal for the design. With such a beautiful exterior it’s no wonder the interior is just as brilliant. It has a competitive cabin that has a boot capacity of 316 litres which can be ultimately extended to 1148 litres. The interior is all style and class with neat chromed touches in the front and a quality on the display graphics that really does not need to fear competitors. The finishing gives a high-class touches and is better than its predecessor. The driving seat and the steering wheel can be adjusted for many settings it is comfortable for driver of any size.

However, at the back, there isn’t much leg or head room for large-sized adults. The controls and the dashboard are confusing and can easily put off any driver above 55. Having said that, the Focus comes with a generous amount of kit as standard. The performance of this car does not let you down in any way. Looking at the best-selling 1.6 TDCi engine you get a reasonable 60mph per 10.7 seconds. Refinement of the model is fantastic with a very high rating when it comes to noise suppression. The one that stands out the most is 1.0 litre 3 cylinder Eco-boost engine which offers 50 mpg with 123bhp. It is a terrific combination of performance and economy. The ride is even more smooth and refined with this engine.
