Music for the souls, music for the heart the enormous influence of the popular music has seen and faced challenges from diverse frontiers. With websites promoting the indie band and the blogs, social networks and discussion forums, which are bridging the gap that was once difficult to merge, have directed the art for art's sake with the community ready to operate for the movement that is independent music. Bands like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails have chosen to give their music away for free.

There are some indie bands that rely on their music and some others who rely on the commerce of it through tours and publishing rights along with record deals. The indie band scenario is ever on the rise and the dedication of many artists is getting the right acclamation.
