Some of the most iconic attractions in the world can be found in London—from modern marvels, such as the London Eye to historic landmarks, such as the Tower of London. If you have a limited time to go around the city, it might be frustrating to go to just a handful of sites and maximize the experience as best as you can. Extending your stay in london hotels is worth every minute and every cent you will spend, but if this is not feasible for you right now, just make sure to make time to see the following attractions before you leave.

London Eye

The huge Ferris wheel offers the most spectacular view of London to as far as 40 kilometers. This wheel is not for the faint of heart since the wheel moves very slowly and will take half an hour to complete the rotation. The breathtaking view from above should be worth overcoming whatever fear of heights you may have. Make sure to make arrangements to visit the London Eye from your accommodation or anyplace near the city.

The Tower of London

The infamous tower is known for its grisly history, ...
... most prominently as the spot where Anne Boleyn was beheaded. It is also known as a prison for royals back then. Despite the reputation, the tower is still garnering lots of visitors because of its impressive structure. Make sure to see the beautiful Crown Jewels. There are tour guides you can hire if you want to know the entire history of the place.

The Thames

If staying in budget hotels is getting dreary, then go visit the Thames. Every tourist must experience taking a boat trip on the Thames and see the sights of the capital. There's no better way to do this than on the London Showboat, which comes with live music entertainment and a sumptuous four-course meal. You get to pass by the Tower Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Houses of Parliament during your boat trip.

Buckingham Palace

It's a must for every London tourist to include this palace in his or her itinerary. Nineteen state rooms are open to the public within this royal fort, with viewings held every year between August and September. As a guest, you can feast your eyes on the priceless art adorning the palace's walls, which include works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canova, and Canaletto. This is one place you will always cherish as having set your foot on as you leave London.

These places are only four of the many places that you can visit while in London. Take time to explore each and every place to experience the beauty of London in its entirety.
