How To Deal With Online Pr Nightmare

Controlling your business brand's image online is essential. Bad PR can kill a brand easily and quickly online. The online world is like a time warp, what could take days or weeks to snowball offline to create a PR nightmare, can literally happen within hours online.
A lot of older companies have witnessed this first hand. Recently Motrin found this out the hard way when an advertising campaign they launched for Mom's pain, backfired rapidly.
Unfortunately the law of the Internet jungle doesn't allow most companies the control they have when there are comparatively limited sources of information as in traditional media. With online portals, blogs, and individual websites, anyone can put up a website and say whatever they want about your brand, whether it is good or bad, true or false
There is no stopping a person from talking about your brand, but what you can do is attempt to negate problems before they occur.

2. Creating constant flow of new articles/content/information daily and implement them onto your website for your website visitors. This will give your website visitors and search engine crawlers/spiders a reason to constantly come back. This will help to maintain high visibility and legitimacy with the search engines.
3. This plan allows you to rank prominenently in search engine results when clients search for your company's information. This method will be making it very difficult for those wishing to spread bad publicity or carry out a grudge to be easily visible vs. your high level of achieved visibility.
Scenario 2, A Company who fails to do any internet marketing leaving themselves open to a disgruntled or even a malicious campaign via another website, blog or forum.
In this scenario, new clients that are searching for information about your company will see the disgruntled client's blog and become turned off from doing business with your company.
The way to fix this problem is to #1, get in contact with the disgruntled person and get them to take down the site.
If this does not work, what you have to do is to outrank the disgruntled person's blog by increasing your brand's presence online. This has to be done with Article submissions with online publishers and article directories. Create and submit constant press releases on a monthly basis to increase the presence of your brand online.
The next thing you have to do is update your website with daily new content, get links from other websites to increase rankings.
Another good process is to create a separate URL that contains your website's blog, for example, and use an Internet marketing campaign to rank that highly on the search engines. You can also create a forum, or chat on separate domains, and interlink your websites so the website becomes an authority in your industry. In this way, you are addressing bad PR with solid, positive facts and information i.e. good PR.
