Night Safari is one of the chief attractions of Singapore and gives visitors a peek into the life of the wild animals in their nocturnal surroundings. It is a nocturnal zoo which is a part of the rainforest situated beside the famed Singapore Zoo. It was incepted in the year 1994 and instantly took tourism in Singapore to new heights. The aim of the safari is to offer the tourists a glimpse of the beasts and birds in their natural environment during their active (nighttime) hours. Visitors are taken for the safari in vehicles and they are made to feast on the flora and fauna with the help of special lights.
