It feels great both to receive and give gifts. However, the pleasure is doubled for the receivers if you give Personalised Gifts to them. You are wrong if you think that it would cost you more to give such gifts. With a little bit of creativity it would cost you far lesser than you would spend otherwise. The idea is to recycle different items and make something new out of them. Recycling is a great way to save resources and thus is environment friendly. Thus, you are not only gifting a person something, you are also giving something to the environment as well.

Here are certain ideas that would place your presents in the category of unusual gifts, thereby turning heads:

Pencil or Pen Cup: You would need a cereal box, a toilet paper roll, popsicle sticks, glue and a pair of scissors to make this item. Use scissors to cut open a cereal box. You need to again cut a circle out of the flat cardboard piece as per the size of the diameter of the toilet paper roll. Glue the base of the roll to the round cut out circle. Once the glue dries, start applying glue to the popsicle sticks and paste them ...
... vertically on the outer side of the paper roll. After the glue dries, paint the item with a nice color. You can also make a multi color pencil or pen cup.

Jeweled Candle: Wash a jar thoroughly so that it remains moisture free. Attach beads of different colors to the outer side of the jar with the help of glue. Use a double boiler to melt wax. Melt broken crayons as well in order to add color to the wax. Pour the mixture into the jar. Drop a wick into the jar and cut it off keeping 3 inch of it above the jar. Once the wax gets hardened adjust the length of the wick with that of top of the jar for a nicer look.

T-Shirt Pillow: Pick some old T-Shirts with certain themes. Turn them inside out and start sewing together the sleeve holes and the neckline holes. You do not need to use a sewing machine. Just ensure that you use small stitches. Now get the right side out. Thereafter stuff them with cotton or synthetic fiber and smoothen out if there is any lump. The last step is to sew together the bottom of the T-Shirts again by using small stitches so that they look good.

Use your imagination to make more of these kinds of items and happily give them away. Everybody is sure to love these recycled gifts made solely by you.
