Everybody in an aircraft has the responsibility of ensuring that they are safe. However airline safety lies with the crew, pilot, co pilots and flight attendants, so they say. Either way everyone on board has to be safe and this is to be achieved collectively.

Basic safety training is always provided to pilots because safety majorly lies on them. They run the plane and oversee on things going on. Day to day training is provided by a renowned UK airline on basic safety rules. Such training offer a wide range of precaution like wet drill, slide descents, door operation, fire and smoke training. Emergency situations are not normal phenomena in during flights. When they occur they leave people baffled with nothing to do yet they are many miles above the ground. Cabin crews are equipped on how to deal with such fatal ...
... emergencies through these training. This is done using advanced motion and fixed simulators. Use of emergency exits required in dire situations is taught during door operations. Smoke chambers are also used for fire and smoke training in highly monitored illustrations. There are situations when life rafts and jackets are needed. Therefore such trainings take place in water to enhance understanding and accuracy.

Most emergency situations call for good communication skills. There are many planes flying in the atmosphere at the same time so experts dont rule out a possibility of air collision. For this there is five-day training. Traffic controllers and pilots are taught on how to prevent possible T-CAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) and ACAS (Airborne Collision Avoidance System). This is done by case studies and specified procedure on situational awareness. These two professions need good communication and instant feedback.

Airside safety is also important for the cabin crew. They are trained on improving signals in adverse conditions like heavy rains, marking danger zones, fire protection, fire action, first aid training, instant accident reports, and prevention of possible fire breakouts, maintaining traffic rules and ensuring a good communication system. Others are cargo handling, creating awareness minimizing accidents and other damages. All that takes around for hours
