Erdene Zuu: - This is one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia housing more than one thousand monks at any given time. This and other monasteries such as Choijin Lama offer visitors with suitable architectural attractions and therefore a “must-visit” for holidaymakers travelling to Mongolia.

Summer runs from mid-May to late August while autumn is only experienced in September and October.

The best time to travel to Mongolia starts in May to the Naadam Holiday in July. August is also a favorite month to visit due to the warm weather, cultural parades and activities among other things. The average temperature for Mongolia stands are 26 °F, with the highest temperature being recorded in July at 22 °C (72°F). January is the coldest with a min average of -32 °C (-26 °F).
