This sanctuary is home to migrating as well as indigenous birds of the deserts. Eagles, falcons and vultures can also be spotted in the sanctuary. Among the famous eagle breeds are the Short-toed Eagle, Tawny Eagle and Laggar Falcons. The Rathambore National Park exhibits a safari tour amongst the tigers up close. Although, the Tal Chhapar Sanctuary is relatively small compared to others; it holds the rarest breeds of desert animals namely the Desert fox, blackbuck and the Great Indian Bustard.

Landscape Wonders

Rajasthan does not only boast its rich made-made architectures but it also take pride of its well and diverse landscapes. The north-west part of Rajasthan is just below the borders of Pakistan where the Thar Desert lies. Marvel at the sand dunes crafted by the desert winds or just appreciate the quite desolation away from the busy life of city. To south eastern part of Rajasthan lies the Aravali Range which is the direct opposite of the dry deserts of Thar. The Aravali Range is filled with vegetation and deciduous forests. Hike on top of Rajasthan by following the trail to the highest spot of Mount Abu.
