With the summer holidays almost upon us, it's time to think of an adventure you will remember forever. While on that, why not go to Oz? There are kangaroos and koalas, and unique wildlife that you can find only in Australia, so while on holiday, it is always useful to gear yourself with a sense of adventure. To maximise your Aussie holiday, there are plenty of tours you can choose from.

You could board a bus to great ocean road tours across the land down under. Cruising through Adelaide hills, to marvelling the sights at Mt. Arapiles, to the Grampian National Park is only the beginning.

If you have an entire week to experience the outdoors, you could take a Desert Patrol Outback tour from Adelaide to Alice Springs. Adventure starts from the first day of gradual scenery changes, to camel trains and abandoned railways. Then there's a stop at the opal capital in the world at Coober Pedy and a stop at Ayers Rock (there is also a separate Ayers Rocks Tours, but more on that later). Learn more about the Anangu people and understand the landscape, hike the beautiful Valley of the Winds, drive through the Kings Canyon, ...
... and on your last day, see the sandstone domes and the Garden of Eden before you finally arrive at your destination in Alice Springs.

About 440 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs is the beautiful Uluru. This monolith, also known as Ayers Rock, is one of Australia's natural wonders. Uluru tours are available if you want to see this World Heritage Area. After all, not only does it hold cultural significance to the Anangu tribe, its unique and beautiful formation also gives emphasis on its natural value.

If you only have a day to spare, you may also be interested in visiting the Barossa Valley. Usually, an outback tour company offers a wine-tasting experience and an extravagant barbecue lunch of marinated kangaroo. If you think that's too much, chicken and steak are also available for the less adventurous.

If wildlife and the wilderness appeals you most, then the Kangaroo Island Tours are perfect for you. Experience the uniqueness of Australia with a panoramic view on top of Prospect Hill and close encounters of sea lions at Seal Bay, and farmhouse accommodations with koalas, kangaroos and possums. Enjoy Aussie feasts and play the didgeridoo, an instrument similar to a flute that is developed and played by indigenous Australian tribes.

Australia is home to many natural wonders and unique wildlife species that you can't see anywhere else in the world. There is more to the land down under than koalas and kangaroos, and it is up to you to discover what this country has to offer.
