Disregarding the fact that horseracing in that particular city evolved or not but still, an area known as “race course” always existed. In today’s arena, some of the prominent racecourses are Pune Race course, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Hyderabad race club, Kolkata racecourse etc. Hollywood and Bollywood movies have also used horseracing in various aspects to highlight rich and wealthy people. In these movies horseracing is showcased as an event meant for rich and wealthy.

Nothing can escape itself from the world of Internet, currently there are a number of blogs and websites that gives us information regarding Horserace. Most of these websites belong to foreign countries since in India the online awareness regarding horseracing is not up to the expected levels. Some of these websites also invite people to put their money on the respected horses online and this trend again is not legal in India.

Horseracing as a sport still needs lot of encouragement among the Indian people, right now number of grounds and players supporting this kind of sport are very less. Indian government has taken appreciable steps to avoid the commercial usage of this sport and hence it needs to take corrective action so that horseracing is encouraged as a sport.
