Incorporated in 2003, the production of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate( PCC) at Yamuna Calcium Pvt. Ltd. Started in 2004. We never looked back since then. We successfully expanded our production capacity from 35 MT per day in 2004 to 60 MT per day in 2008 and again to 100 MT per day in 2011. Our products are now widely used by different industries from Footwear, to Paper and from PVC pipes to Food Products. Late Shri R. K. Khanna:
After his graduation in chemicals, Mr. R. K. Khanna started his career with Sturdia Chemicals, the first Precipitated Calcium Carbonate plant in India. Sturdia Chemicals was a joint venture between John Sturdge of UK and Bombay Dyeing Group of India.
Mr. R. K. Khanna was among the first 3 people from India who got training from John Sturdge UK. After 11 years of service with Sturdia Chemicals, he worked on a position of production manager with different PCC manufacturing ...
... companies from 1974 to 1989. From 1989 to 2003 he worked as a Director with different PCC manufacturing companies.
After 40 years of versatile experience with different PCC manufacturing companies, his dream to have his own PCC manufacturing company came true. He put all his knowledge he gained in his 40 years of service to his own first PCC plant which came into production in 2004.
Growth of the Company:
The per day production which was mere 35 MT per day in 2004 was expanded to 60 MT per day in 2008 and to 100 MT per day in 2011. We started focusing on maximum machine minimum man policy. Today we manufacture 100 MT per day with just 50 workers.
With just rubber and pvc grades in 2004, today we supply to various industries like rubber, pvc, paper, food, pharmaceuticals etc.
Mr. Vishal Khanna (Director)
A 1993 pass out Mechanical Engineer soon started his own marketing firm for selling fine chemicals including PCC. Post his sales experience of 4 years he became a director with one of the PCC manufacturing company and worked in the production department for another 6 years.
He looks after major functions of production and sales. Under his acumen the company has grown its production capacity to 3 times and added new grades to suite requirements of different industries.
Mr. Vikas Vinaik (Director):
Vikas Vinaik, ( Director ) Yamuna Calcium P Ltd.Date of Birth 27-10-1972,aged 40 years.Did his Post Graduation in Arts(English)in 1996 from MLN College Yamuna Nagar,Haryana , India.Started his carrier from Brick manufacturing industry,being his ancestral business,still running the same.Incorporated Yamuna Calcium P Ltd along with three Directores in 2003.Got the exposure of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate Indutry from Late SH RK Khanna , considered to be the father of the industry in India,is looking after Purchase, Production,Administration & Accounts, to the best of his efficiency.
Mr. Vimal Sobti:
A commerce graduate of 1980 batch is into his family business of hot & cold insulations. One of the promoters of the company and working as advisory director, his long experience as a businessman and acumen are always available to the company as and when required.
Mr. Sanjay Sawhney:
A commerce graduate of 1988 batch is an Estate Developer. One of the promoters of the company and working as advisory director, his long experience as a businessman and acumen are always available to the company as and when required.
