Don’t assume simply because you plan to travel via cheap airplane tickets or cheap vacation packages and plan to visit Disney World that you can’t enjoy a romantic vacation as well.

Appealing to the romantics has become big business for Disney. Over the past 20 years Disney World has been host to over 45,000 weddings and countless adult only couples who have vacationed at Disney’s properties in Florida and California.

Clearly the “Happiest Place on Earth” appeals to many the romantic. It’s just as Disney claims “You can shut out the real world; you can suspend reality.”

Couples without children are encouraged to go where the children will not be found (if that is the desire), such as staying at a resort hotel during the daytime when most guests are on park rides. Disney cruise ships such as the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic offer couples’ spa treatment rooms that pair massages with champagne on a veranda with sea views.

Inside Disney theme parks couples can often enjoy privacy on the little walked trails and quiet cul-de-sacs such as the back of Paradise Pier at California Adventure.
