Sometimes potential solo travelers pass on cheap travel deals, including cheap airplane tickets, discount hotel rooms, and cheap vacation packages, because of safety concerns, language barriers, and/or having to dine out alone.

There is however a totally different slant that can be taken regarding solo travel.
