A reputable company has to make an environmental impact assessment (EIA), which determines the efficiency of a project in terms of preserving the environment. A project could be the construction of a retail store or power plant. The effects on society and the economy are considered. Professionals must pay attention to the health of people and nature. This document helps them take more responsibility for their actions.

EIAs started being used in the 1960s when the environment became more of a discussion topic. There are people who think that EIA is not completely effective. To practice EIA effectively, there is a need for training, research and management. The assessments are criticized for not including a broad range of factors, such as product supply, construction materials and resource management. Large assessments, like those that involve ships and airplanes, will create widespread effects for environments all over the world.

Widening the scope of the EIA is useful for endangered species conservation. The environment must be considered in terms of the interactions among population species. The EIA recommends ...
... ways to reduce harm inflicted on an ecosystem.

EIA professionals should review different areas of concern like mass production and food genetic modification. They learn about the destructive elements of each process. They look at how destructive it is to take out natural resources and dispose products.

After professionals finish the assessment, they go through the audit to review the results. The audit lays out how accurate and efficient the assessment will be in the future. The point of any audit is to find errors, which in case of a construction project, could be expensive and destructive. Sometimes, liability insurance is needed before the project is finished.

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is a legal measure that controls federal agency actions. The law controls how agencies work and orders them to publish notices before thinking about the EIS. For instance, after a company makes products, they may be reviewed through a NEPA process. This law is not guaranteed to prevent environmental destruction, and companies are not penalized for inaction. However, NEPA encourages accurate statements to be made on time. The whole purpose is to ensure that all agencies know about the consequences of their actions.

At first, this document was used rarely because the need for an environmental impact statement (EIS) was vague. The average EIS is long and complicated, so agencies are taking steps to avoid the process and do the EIA. Professionals feel more comfortable making EIAs than they do making EISs.

In conclusion, an environmental impact assessment is a form that is required of an agency that is taking on a big project. The EIA is released publicly and analyzed within 2 weeks. During this period, regular people are able to send their concerns straight to an action agency. After the end of the period, a notice of intent is submitted, which states that the agency is making an statement. Overall, there are people in all industries, whether retail or automotive, who need to control the damage they inflict on the environment. Workers must determine the safety and efficiency of their actions so they conserve the resources of the earth.

Environmental impact assessment( http://www.greencircleinc.com/environmental-impact-assessment.html ) is necessary for manufacturing factories, the companies have to review through an environmental expert( http://www.greencircleinc.com ) in order to avoid and control potential risky output they could release.
