Picking The Right Countries For Europe Tours

Planning one of those international vacation packages to Europe? Well, we hate to break it to you, but you can’t possibly plan a vacation that does even the slightest bit of justice to the incredible variety of food, drink, culture, art, music and nature that Europe is home to. So, to help you plan a more fruitful vacation, we suggest instead that you narrow your choice down to one or two countries at the most, thus making room for successive Europe tours to explore the rest!
Norway
Making up the western fringe of the Scandinavian Peninsula, Norway is well known for being one of Europe’s most scenic destinations. The beauty of its secluded glaciers and pristine deep blue rivers is only amplified by the frequent occurrence of The Northern Lights. The counties of Troms and Finnmark are two extremely popular places to see the occurrence of this natural atmospheric phenomenon.
Italy
The one thing every traveller does in Italy is eat an authentic, wood baked, Italian pizza which in reality is the farthest thing from its internationally famous imitations. The highly sophisticated architecture combined ...
... with the warmth of the people and an abundance of local wine make Italy one of Europe’s most sophisticated cities.
Iceland
Similar in its natural topography to Norway, Iceland is perhaps one of the most culturally rich nations on the European continent. Famous for the local folklore that draws heavily on the traditions and myths of the Old Norse, Icelandic life is an interesting mix of modern practicality and progress, mixed in with fables and fantasy.
The Netherlands
Famous for its tulips, notorious red-light districts and vibrant clubs whose walls throb with harsh techno beats, The Netherlands are becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination amongst youngsters. The Netherlands, due to its highly tolerant cannabis regulations as well as its gay pride movement, is considered to be Europe’s most liberal nation.
Belgium
The land of beer, chocolate and mussels, Belgium is a city full of hidden treasures. One could choose to visit a traditional brewery or take a lazy boat ride on the waters that run through the city of Bruges.
Whatever you choose, vacation packages to Europe are one of those things that are constantly throwing up surprises. If you find yourself having nothing to do on a Europe tour, you’re touring Europe the wrong way!
