You might be well-aware of the fact is that olive oil is healthier and we have been learning this right from our school days. But, have you ever thought why this is so special as compared to other alternatives like peanut or sesame oil that is being used by us for several years now for cooking. Generally, these alternatives are made out of the seeds, while the former is an extract from the fruits of the olive tree. They are obtained just by pressing the fruits and without any other treatment. The very first fresh extract from the fruit is Virgin olive oil, while some more extract is made from second and third pressing as well. The one that is obtained during the first pressing is more healthier as compared to the one that is obtained from further pressings.

The pure olive oil contains healthy nutrients. But, what constitutes of these nutrients?

They also ensure that the body gets the right level of calcium needed for its growth. They also remove the bad cholesterol and enables the body to get good cholesterol in huge quantity. This in turn reduces the risk of heart attack. Also, it has been found that people including it in their diet are protecting their heart from the risk of any diseases the percentage of risk of heart disease is reduced by 50% according to researchers. Also, they are known to ensure that the consumers do not gain fat around the abdominal area, which is the problem with many other vegetable oil consumption. However, too much consumption of olive oil will make the fat to gather in the lower part of the body.

Why it is preferable to include olive oil in the diet? Generally, the accumulation of fat in the abdominal area is considered to be the main factor for many diseases, which include obesity as well. So, when it is consumed, the chances of this accumulation is greatly minimized. It has been found that people with fat around the abdominal area are at the risk of getting more diseases as compared to people with fat around the lower part of the body. So, pure olive oil can be the best fit for a healthy diet.
